The Dominican Republic is known for its sprawling golf courses and palm tree-lined beaches, including the top-ranked Bavaro Beach. Golfers will have a hard time choosing, with the largest amount of signature golf courses available in the Caribbean.

 

It offers a large number of resorts, most of which are located in Punta Cana and offering great value for your destination wedding and many huge resorts, able to hold large events.

The major tourist regions of Dominican Republic are Punta Cana and La Romana with very spacious wide beaches. They are not destinations with many different activities outside the resort and it is perfect for great beach days with family and friends.

 

Many resorts are now happy and willing to accommodate same-sex weddings, but due to the requirement of private land for the ceremony, they can’t always be hosted on the beach.
